2014 community priority survey

Community priorities in the central west

In February 2014 we surveyed over 600 landholders and stakeholders in our region to find out what services they think we should be delivering.

The results are now available and help us gauge priorities in our region. We will use this information to help guide our regional strategic planning.

About the survey

The NSW Minister for Primary Industries, the Hon. Katrina Hodgkinson MP announced the creation of Local Land Services on 4 October 2012 and made a commitment to local and efficient delivery of services to rural communities.

As part of this commitment, local Boards and staff will work closely with farmers, landholders and communities to develop local plans. These will prioritise service delivery and reflect regional needs.

In honouring Minister Hodgkinson's commitment, we engaged our communities and asked what you would like delivered in our region, how responses should be assessed and how our performance should be measured.
