Innovation and Technology in Ag rebate

We are inviting land managers to apply for a rebate to purchase innovative technology or services to assist in the adoption of sustainable practice change.

Some examples of technology or services eligible for funding include:

  • data analysis, interrogation and recommendations e.g. livestock, pastures, soil or cropping
  • soil testing and analysis
  • electromagnetic Induction (EM) 38/31 survey and analysis
  • subscription access to remotely sensed imagery e.g. Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) data and fractional land cover data
  • geospatial mapping technologies with remotely sensed data e.g. pastures from space
  • automation of agricultural equipment e.g. variable rate controllers or agricultural robots.

This project is supported by Central West Local Land Services through funding from the Australian Government's National Landcare Programme and Catchment Action NSW.

Closed incentives

Protecting cultural values incentives project

The Protecting cultural values incentive project was established to assist landholders to identify cultural values that may be present on their property.

This funding is now closed as per the stated project deadline (31 May 2016)

Pest and Weed Drought Funding

We recently offered funding to land managers in drought affected areas throughout NSW through the 2015-2016 Pest and Weed Drought Funding program.

This funding is now closed as per the stated deadline (4 April 2016).

Sustainable farming grants

We offered funding to support sustainable farming and a healthy landscape. This has now closed as per the stated deadline (28 August 2015).

This project is supported by Central West Local Land Services through funding from the Australian Government's National Landcare Programme and Catchment Action NSW.

Landcare support

We recently offered funding to Landcare groups for projects and administrative support. This has now closed as per the stated deadline (15 June 2015).
